Balance & Mobility Physiotherapy
Improve Stability. Restore Confidence. Move Without Fear.

Expert Balance & Mobility Physiotherapy

Good balance and mobility are essential for almost every aspect of daily life. From walking, climbing stairs and getting out of a chair to exercising, playing sport and maintaining independence, your ability to move confidently has a huge impact on your overall quality of life.

Following injury, surgery, illness or simply as we get older, balance, coordination and strength can decline. This often leads to reduced confidence, fear of falling and limitations in everyday activities.

At Physical Health Physiotherapy, we provide comprehensive assessments to identify the factors affecting your balance and mobility before creating a bespoke rehabilitation programme tailored to your individual needs and goals.

Physio-led Pilates for Balance & Core Strength

Core strength plays a vital role in balance, posture and movement. Weakness through the deep abdominal, back and pelvic muscles can reduce stability, increase the risk of falls and make everyday activities feel more challenging.

Our physio-led Pilates classes are an excellent complement to physiotherapy, helping to build a stronger, more stable foundation for movement. Led by Chartered Physiotherapists, every class is designed with injury prevention, rehabilitation and long-term health in mind.

Pilates can help improve:

  • Core strength and stability

  • Balance and coordination

  • Posture and body awareness

  • Joint mobility and flexibility

  • Muscle control

  • Confidence with movement

  • Fall prevention

  • Recovery following injury or surgery

  • Long-term spinal and joint health

Unlike general Pilates classes, our sessions are supervised by experienced physiotherapists who can modify exercises around injuries, pain or medical conditions, ensuring you exercise safely while continuing to make progress.

Many of our patients choose to continue with physio-led Pilates after completing physiotherapy treatment to maintain their strength, improve mobility and reduce the likelihood of future injuries.
