Ten minutes on the Mat Pilates Exercises

Physical Health's physiotherapist Sarah Chapman takes you through a ten minute, ten matwork Pilates exercises routine. These are a versatile bunch of exercises that can be adapted to be made easier or more difficult depending on your level.


There are options for adding a soft Pilates ball and resistance band to your workout. How many reps and how many sets should you do? To start with repeat each exercise 6-8 times and work through the set of 10 once. If that's manageable you can repeat the ten exercises again, add more reps or complete two sets of the exercise before moving on. Happy exercising!
